WHAT IS A BATH TRUFFLE?
A bath truffle is like a bubble bath mixed with a bath bomb. It's filled with skin-loving butters and oils, and it's ultra-hydrating! Drop a bath truffle in your bath under running water for luxurious bubbles.
WILL MY PRODUCT LOOK EXACTLY LIKE THE PICTURE?
While we strive toy be as consistent as possible, our products are handmade. Slight variations are inevitable.
MY PRODUCT HAS BIG AIR BUBBLES. DOES THIS MEAN I HAVE LESS THAN THE LABEL STATES?
Nope! Air bubbles are an unavoidable part of the process but do not affect the amount of product you receive. Each item is weighed when it is packaged, so you will receive AT LEAST as much as the label states (often a bit more due to the products being hand-filled).
THERE'S A POWDERY WHITE FILM ON MY SOAP BAR/SOAP EMBED. IS THIS MOLD?
No. This is something called soda ash. Soda ash can form on soaps for a variety of reasons. However, it is merely an aesthetic issue. Your soap is safe to use!
DO YOUR SOAPS CONTAIN LYE?
Yes! All real soap is made with lye. However, after the curing process all that is left is glycerin and soap.
IS SLSA THE SAME AS SLS?
No. SLSa (sodium lauryl sulfoacetate) is a surfactant that looks and sounds similar to SLS, but it is completely different. SLSa is a safe, non-irritating cleanser made from plant oils. At a molecular level, SLSa has a large molecule (whereas SLS has a small molecule) which doesn't penetrate the skin easily or cause irritation like other surfactants.
WILL THE BOTANICAL TOPPINGS ON MY SOAP CLOG MY DRAIN?
Most toppings are small and easily passed through plumbing. If you are concerned, please take a moment to brush off the botanicals/toppings into your compost bin.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY ORDER?
Processing will take 3-7 business days. Orders are shipped via USPS Mon-Fri (excluding holidays). Once your order is processed, a shipping label will be created with a tracking number that will indicate approximately when you will receive your order (typically 3 business days, or up to 7). In the event that shipping is delayed due to an issue on our end, we will notify you. However, once we have processed your order and sent it to the post office, it is in their hands.
MY PACKAGE WAS LOST/STOLEN. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Pale Moon Soaps & Sundries is not responsible for any lost or stolen packages. Please contact USPS customer service for issues regarding lost or stolen packages.
HELP! I ENTERED THE WRONG ADDRESS. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Contact our customer service ASAP! We can change your shipping address PRIOR to shipping. HOWEVER, we have no control over the package once it has shipped out. In most cases, it will be returned to us. In the event that this happens, we will send an invoice to obtain your correct address and additional shipping.
HELP! I RECEIVED A DAMAGED PRODUCT. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
If you received a damaged product. please email us with the following: Your full name, order number, pictures of the damaged item(s), and the box it was shipped in. We will contact you as soon as we can for further information and/or ways we can assist you.
HELP! I RECEIVED THE WRONG ITEM. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery of your order. We will need a photo of the incorrect item along with your full name and order number.
I CONTACTED CUSTOMER SERVICE. WHEN SHOULD I EXPECT A RESPONSE?
We try to respond to emails within 24 hours on business days. Weekends and holidays may take longer. We're a small business, so please be understanding of that!
CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?
Yes, IF your order hasn't been processed yet. Please provide your full name and order number with your cancellation request.
CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE MY ITEM(S)?
Sorry. For sanitary purposes, we cannot accept returns or exchanges at this time. All sales are final.
WHAT THE HECK? THERE’S SWEAT ON MY SOAP EMBED! WHAT IS IT?
No need to worry! This is just glycerin dew. It happens when your embed has a high concentration of glycerin. Glycerin attracts moisture to it, occasionally causing this dewy or sweaty appearance. It’s only a cosmetic issue. Your product is still 100%?safe to use!
